José Eduardo Báez is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Guanajuato (UG), Guanajuato, Gto. México, where he has been a faculty member since 2015. Before moving to UG, Eduardo was in the Department of Chemistry at University of California, Irvine (UCI) where he worked as postdoc from 2012 to 2014 in the laboratory of Professor Kenneth J. Shea. The research of Dr. Báez is mainly in Polymer Chemistry, Materials Chemistry and Catalysis. He likes chemistry, play basketball, enjoy nature and make his own meal, especially, Mexican food.
